Surrey Hope returned to form with a stunning win at Epsom’s famous Downs course under a very enterprising ride from Jason Watson, who is fast becoming Surrey Racing’s go to jockey. Surrey Hope has suffered quite a few issues over the past two years and we had hoped a move to Hughie Morrison and a different style of training would rejuvenate Hope but his first two comeback rides have been fairly disappointing.  Running out of options we thought we try the quirkiness of the Epsom track to see whether it may make a difference, and what a surprise to be duly rewarded. Hope bounced into the lead when the stalls opened and under a mainly hands and heels ride he maintained a high tempo gallop that had the opposition floundering in his wake. He ran on well to win by 2 lengths and we are really excited about what the future may hold for a horse many had given up on. Has there been a more emotional win for Surrey Racing !?!?
