3 years into our fledgling life as a thoroughbred racing syndicate we have already experienced many highs and unfortunately a few lows, that’s the beauty of horse racing and why many people join racing clubs and syndicates around the UK, owning a racehorse is never dull ! The next 10 days really stand out as a hugely exciting time for Surrey Racing and the connections involved with us.
Tomorrow (July 2nd) Surrey Blaze makes his jumps debut having enjoyed a 5 win career on the flat with Joe Tuite. He’s now in training with Dan Skelton and has been ‘schooling’ really well over obstacles. We’ll find out how well in 24 hours time!
On Saturday, Surrey Hope returns to action. He’s really suffered with so many issues over the past 20 months after rising through the ranks as a three year old, winning three really competitive handicaps under Oisin Murphy and Ryan Moore. He was our first horse and retains a place very high in our affections so we can’t wait to see whether he can put those problems behind him at Chelmsford.
Sunday could be the biggest day we’ve ever had, Surrey Thunder will hopefully (easing ground needed) take his place in the Group 1 150th German Derby in Hamburg, not a bad achievement for a relatively new syndicate, but a syndicate that is fast establishing itself as one of the very best horse racing syndicates in the UK.
Surrey Breeze and Surrey Warrior are entered in to the July sales next week, and hopefully they move to decent owners who will run and win races with them. Once they move on we will be looking to introduce the latest high flying 2 year old to join the ranks. Every time we have a new horse the shares literally fly off the shelf so always get in touch and register your interest even if we don’t have a horse for sale.

Live The Dream !!!!!
