    Dan Skelton is one of the leading NH trainers in the UK and is tipped by many in the business to be a future Champion National Hunt Trainer. He is based at Lodge Hill, which provides state of the art  training facilities in the heart of the Warwickshire countryside and comes from a family steeped in horse history. His father Nick won Olympic Equestrian Gold at the London 2012 and Rio 2016 Games.

    Dan has worked with horses for his whole life and spent nine years as Assistant Trainer to Champion National Hunt Trainer Paul Nicholls. During this time he was fortunate enough to associate with some of the best horses, jockeys, owners and professionals in racing, experience that he now brings to bear in his own training enterprise.

    Now in his fourth season, success has continued to flow and the future looks strong with the quality of horses in the yard. In 2014 Dan trained 73 winners, including Graded and Listed contests, winning over £700,000 in prize money. Now Dan regularly achieves 100 winners and £1 million in prize money. In the 2017/18 season he achieved that landmark by Christmas !

    He finished the season with 156 winners from 801 runners and prize money of £1.74m.
