Gran Luna Wins at Ludlow !

Gran Luna was a picture in the sun today, the judges agreed and she won the best turned out ! She followed that by making it 5 wins from only 9 starts with a tape to post win at a very sunny and pleasant Ludlow racecourse today in the Weatherbysshop.co.uk Mares' Handicap Hurdle . Our ultra consistent mare has only been outside of the top 3 on one run and this was another typically battling performance. Coming into the home turn she was challenged by JP McManus’ Litterale Ci but Nico de Boinville knows when to push the right moment to pull away , today was no different. and with an almost perfect round of jumping Nico pushed her home to win by over 2 comfortable lengths. Gran Luna really appreciated the almost perfect ground and got every inch of the 2 mile 5 furlong race so even further races are on the horizon.
